Join the Osgood Professional Development Program
The Professional Development Program at the Osgood Center for International Studies is a transformative experience. You can attend Congressional hearings, think tank discussions and embassy events; engage with key domestic and international political actors; and draft policy briefs on pressing global issues. Twice a week, you can also attend a reflective seminar with President Shelton L. (Dr. Shelly) Williams and meet outstanding professional mentors who discuss their professional journeys and provide career advice and insight to the job market in DC and beyond.
Our goal is to sharpen your ability to write clear and impactful policy briefs, challenge you to think critically, and expand your perspective on international affairs and foreign policy. Most importantly, it gives you the chance to learn from and connect with inspiring leaders across the international space.
The program dates for academic year 2025/2026 are:
| 9/22-12/5 | 1/12-3/20 | 3/30-6/5 | 6/16-8/14 |
It is possible to arrange earlier end dates in each quarter.
